Coherence of EU policy with regard to protection from electromagnetic fields (EMF)
Orgalime and WEM, the employers organisation of the metal trades in Europe covering the engineering, manufacturing and technology based companies represent between them about 200,000 companies employing some 12 million people.
In this joint position paper, ORGALIME and WEM express their increasing concerns for what they see as the lack of coherence and proportionality in the Commission's approach to the issue of electromagnetic fields(EMF), as shown in the many ongoing EU initiatives.
