EU's recognition of Russia as 'Market economy'
As the European Union has announced the recognition of market economy status of Russia, this implies, among other, the amendment of the EC antidumping regulation (reg. EC/384/1996).
In spite of the recent progress in the operating conditions, our industry does still face a number of problems, and we therefore propose a number of specific recommendations with respect to the concepts of 'particular market situation' and 'non cooperation', which we hope you will consider when revising the Regulation.
